The dosing schedule for Tirzepatide is as follows:

  1. Starting Dose: Begin with 2.5 mg once weekly for the first 4 weeks.

  2. Increase Dose: After 4 weeks, increase the dose to 5 mg once weekly.

  3. Further Increases: If additional glycemic control is needed, increase the dose in 2.5 mg increments every 4 weeks until the desired effect is achieved, up to a maximum of 15 mg once weekly.

Administration Instructions:

  • Tirzepatide should be administered as a subcutaneous injection.

  • It can be injected into the abdomen, thigh, or upper arm.
