⚠️ Important Note:
Always follow your primary care provider’s instructions when taking your prescription.
Compounded melts—also known as lozenges, sublingual tablets, or troches—are medications prepared by a compounding pharmacy in a solid, dissolvable form.
Placement
Place the melt under your tongue or against your cheek, where it will slowly dissolve.
Dissolving
Allow the melt to dissolve gradually in your mouth without chewing or swallowing it. The medication is designed to be released as the melt dissolves.
Completion
Once the melt has fully dissolved, swallow any remaining saliva. Avoid eating or drinking for a recommended period afterward to ensure proper absorption.
